A company that will deliver in depth security surveys, reviews and audits to a consistently high standard on a global basis but with particular emphasis on the UK and Europe
Ashwood Security Homepage Andrew Ashwood was a police officer with the Metropolitan Police, completing 35 years service, of which the last 17 years was spent in specialist security related duties.

He is a Home Office trained Crime Prevention Officer,
Architectural Liaison Officer and Counter Terrorist Security Advisor (CTSA) with expertise in CCTV, perimeter intruder detection and other security related skills. This has enabled him, whilst still a serving
police officer, to advise commerce, industry, the leisure industry and the government estate on all aspects of security.

This experience was gained through working in specialised departments that provided advice to the diplomatic community on all facets of building and personal security. As a CTSA he was deployed overseas to advise on security related matters involving both the expatriate community and foreign governments. Throughout 2004 he was seconded to the
British Olympic Association as their security advisor and involved in the assessment of the security of various Olympic Games venues.

Andrew retired from the Metropolitan Police in September 2005 and having been employed by a major security consultancy has not only gained valuable commercial experience but also experience as an expert witness in litigation matters surrounding security issues. Andrew formed his own consultancy in May 2008.
